Reliable Electric has been building careers since 1993 — not just filling positions. Ten of our team members have been with us for over a decade. Our Director of Operations started as a field electrician and has been part of this company for 20 years. What its actually like here

We're a company of 45+ people, which means you're never anonymous but also never isolated. You'll work alongside master electricians who've been doing this for decades, and apprentices who are just starting out. That mix is intentional.

The "Kevin Standard" — the principle our founder built this company on in 1993 — is simple: do the work right, treat people fairly, and stand behind what you do. That's still how we operate.

High turnover is common in this trade. It's not common here.

A place to grow, not just work

The majority of our Project Managers didn’t arrive in that role — they earned it here. Most started in the field as electricians, became foremen, and grew into project management over time. That’s not a coincidence. It’s the result of 30 years of promoting the people in front of us.

Dylan is one example. He joined Reliable Electric 15 years ago as a field electrician and is now part of our project management team. He’s not the exception — he’s the pattern.

We work across a genuine range of projects: custom residential estates, large commercial developments, EV infrastructure, and smart home systems. That variety matters for your development — you’re building a broader skill set with every year, not repeating the same job on a different address.

We support training at all stages — apprentices through journeymen through foremen. Whether that’s on-the-job mentorship or formal coursework, we’ll invest in it.

We’re hiring at multiple levels — from first-year apprentices to red seal journeymen and experienced foremen. What matters more than where you are in your career is how you approach your work.
