Temporary Power Services
Reliable Electric provides temporary power solutions sized to the job — from 100A and 200A services for basic home construction, to 400A three-phase temporary power, to a 600A single-phase-to-three-phase system that runs a crane off available utility power instead of a diesel generator.
Residential Temporary Power (100A / 200A)
For basic home construction and renovations across Greater Vancouver, we install temporary 100A and 200A power services that keep framers, trades, and site crews running safely and on schedule while the permanent electrical system is being completed.
Scaling Up
From single-family homes to major job sites.
Most residential projects run on our 100A and 200A temporary services. Larger builds, commercial sites, and specialty equipment like tower cranes need more — that's where our 400A three-phase and 600A single-phase-to-three-phase systems come in, delivering the higher capacity those jobs demand.
400A Three-Phase Temporary Power
For larger builds running on three-phase service, we also provide 400A, 120/208V temporary power distribution — including options to convert to 480V for crane loads — giving contractors a dependable three-phase supply for the duration of construction.
600A Shore-Power Crane Supply System
A self-contained temporary power system that converts a 600A, 120/240V single-phase utility service into 480V three-phase power for a crane load — reducing jobsite reliance on diesel generators.
Using shore power instead of a diesel generator helps lower generator rental costs, fuel costs, noise, emissions, and site logistics.
